Rental process
How does occasionwear rental work at Pushpa Designers?
Browse our collection online, reserve a piece, and book a private fitting at our LB Nagar or Nagole studio. During the fitting, our stylist helps you find the perfect look. You pay the rental fee and security deposit, wear the outfit for your occasion, and return it after. It is that simple.
How far in advance should I book my rental?
We recommend booking at least 5-7 days before your event to ensure availability and time for a fitting. During peak wedding season (November-February), book 2-3 weeks in advance as popular pieces get reserved quickly.
Can I rent for multiple days?
Yes. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rental rates. For multi-day events like weddings spanning several days, we can work out a custom rental period. Mention your dates during the fitting and we will confirm availability and pricing.
What documents or ID do I need to rent?
You will need a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar card, passport, or driving licence) for verification. We also collect a security deposit which is fully refunded when the outfit is returned in good condition.
Sizes & fittings
Do you offer fittings at both LB Nagar and Nagole stores?
Yes, both our LB Nagar and Nagole studios offer private fittings by appointment. You can book a fitting online or call us. Our stylists at both locations will help you find the right fit and look for your occasion.
What if the outfit does not fit me?
That is exactly what fittings are for. We carry sizes from XS to 4XL, and during the fitting we ensure the outfit fits you well. If a piece is not available in your size, we will suggest alternatives from our collection that do fit.
Can I try the outfit before renting?
Absolutely. A private fitting is the best way to try on pieces before committing. Book a fitting appointment and our stylist will prepare options based on your occasion and preferences.
Payments & deposits
What is the security deposit and when is it refunded?
The security deposit varies by piece and is collected at the time of rental. It is fully refunded once the outfit is returned in good condition, typically within 3-5 business days. The deposit ensures the garment is cared for during the rental period.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit and credit cards, and cash at our stores. Online payments can be made through our secure checkout for both purchases and rentals.
Alterations & damage
Can I alter or customise a rented outfit?
Minor temporary adjustments like tucking or pinning can be done during the fitting. Permanent alterations are not permitted as the outfits are part of our rental collection. If you need a custom fit, we offer custom measurement options for select pieces — ask during your fitting.
What happens if an outfit is damaged?
Normal wear is expected and included. For significant damage (tears, stains that cannot be removed, lost embellishments), the repair cost may be deducted from your security deposit. We will always inform you of any charges before processing. We encourage careful handling during your event.
Delivery & returns
Do you offer delivery?
We primarily operate from our LB Nagar and Nagole studios with in-store fittings and pickups. For select areas in Hyderabad, home delivery and pickup can be arranged for an additional fee. Contact us to check if delivery is available for your location.
How do I return the outfit after my event?
Return the outfit to the same store where you collected it, within the agreed rental period. Our team will inspect the garment and process your security deposit refund. Please return the outfit in the condition you received it, with all accessories included.
